Face-to-face networking raises your business profile and can have an impact and help you grow your business often not truly appreciated. Many businesses never meet their clients in person. Investing dedicated time interacting with the local business community can build long-term relationships and open doors that may not be achievable without attending such events.
The Brighton & Hove Business Show has for four years been offering such intereaction with many exhibitors taking stands at all 8 events staged, or those fitting the event into part of their yearly marketing schedule.
This year has seen a move away from the larger, twice yearly, staged event in Brighton & Hove to four, regular monthly, smaller, Spring events taking place at Holiday Inn Hotel Brighton Seafront; the next taking place 23 February 2012, at the request of businesses who called for more regular networking during Spring 2012.
BBC Dragons Den film team are joining the event for the third consecutive year, seeking out those businesses who want to find cash for their next big business idea in the Den. The Intellectual Property Office joins the day too, with help and advice especially for visitors of the creative industries, digital and new media companies.
January 2012 saw more than 10 startup businesses join the business day and February will see 5 more. The event is free and encourages local and Sussex businesses to join on the day from 11am – 4pm, by simply pre-registering their attendance online at Brighton & Hove Business
